We hurriedly moved 10-15 yards to our left. My ram was still standing there wondering what all the noise was about. One shot put him down for good. We'd done it again, doubling up on two outstanding Dall rams.

So this all went down in like 3 minutes? Wow. Yours looks huge as well. If you got the big one this year... is there no white whale for next year? Also, have you ever seen them go head to head Marty Stouffer's Wild America style?
Yes, hunting is often long hours of waiting followed by a few frantic minutes of action. There's always another white whale out there..somewhere.
Yes! It is way cool. usually you see the head butt and then hear the crack a couple seconds later. I've seen groups of rams standing around in a circle taking turns beating the crap out of each other. Pretty good stuff.
That. Is. Awesome. I love that they form a fight circle.
