The bucks are getting their pride back. Looking forward to matching wits with them in the high country in August and September. For now it's been fun to see them growing their new antlers and getting their sleek summer coats. Any day now we should start seeing a new crop of little spotted fawns.

on the way home from your house on saturday, i saw the buck of the woods. no kidding. his bases were bigger around than his ears. he looked like some kind of pituitary freak african/alaskan antelope/deer.
