Bye Bye Hoover
We bought one of those Hoover stick vacuums several months ago off Amazon (when you live on a remote island in Alaska, a lot of stuff comes via Amazon). It broke after just a few uses. After an arduous warranty process we acquired a replacement. After just a few uses, you guessed it, it broke again. We were frustrated. Company was on the way and the floors were a mess. There was tension in the house. You know how those little things in life can turn you on your head sometimes. Amy made an off handed comment about just tossing the dang thing into the street. Well, it was going in the garbage anyway...

No more messing around with cheap vacuums. Thanks to Amazon (again) we got a screaming deal on a reconditioned Dyson.

Going Green
Going green. It's everywhere now. Fuel efficient cars, biodegradable trash, organic produce, recycling, energy efficiency upgrades, low flow toilets, etc. Figured I better get on the bandwagon too. So I'm switching bullets to these green-tipped 165 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips. I've loaded these up with 58.5 grains of IMR 4350 powder, Federal primers and Remington cases. With these, my intention is to procure bountiful amounts of lean, nutritious, grass fed, artificial growth hormones and antibiotic free, organic venison. Oh, and happy St. Patty Day tomorrow.
